Volunteer at Meadowbrook Farm

Thank you for your interest in the volunteer program at Meadowbrook Farm. We are gearing up for the gardening season and need your help with both tours and in the gardens!

Training for those who would like to lead tours of Meadowbrook’s home and garden will take place on Thursdays from March 18 through April 8, 9 am to noon. Qualifications to be a docent at Meadowbrook Farm include:

  • Time between the months of April and October to volunteer ninety minutes per tour as many times as your schedule allows.
  • The ability and comfort in talking to groups of up to 20 people in a moving tour situation. Each docent gives both house and garden tours.
  • An enthusiasm for meeting new people, sharing history, and gardening.

Additionally, we are seeking volunteer gardeners to help in specific areas of Meadowbrook Farm, including our display gardens. If your interests lie in tending perennials, native plants, vegetable gardening, herbs, pond-side and bog gardens, woodland shade plantings, or even hardy cacti and succulents, we have a niche for you!

If you are interested in volunteering at Meadowbrook, please click here to send us an email with your name, address, phone number and area of interest (docent or garden volunteer). We will get back to you shortly!
