Volunteer at Meadowbrook Farm

Thank you for your interest in the volunteer program at Meadowbrook Farm. We need your help with both garden tours and in the gardens!

Qualifications to be a docent at Meadowbrook Farm include:

• Time between now and October to volunteer ninety minutes per tour as many times as your schedule allows.
• The ability and comfort in talking to groups of up to 20 people in a moving tour situation. Each docent gives both house and garden tours.
• An enthusiasm for meeting new people, sharing history, and gardening.
• At this moment we can only accept volunteers who are at least 18 years old and/or seniors in high school.

Additionally, we are seeking volunteer gardeners to help in specific areas of Meadowbrook Farm, including our display gardens. If your interests lie in tending perennials, native plants, vegetable gardening, herbs, pond-side and bog gardens, woodland shade plantings, or even hardy cacti and succulents, we have a niche for you!
